My Background
I love the magic of makeup and how you can transform a look. I’ve always been fascinated with it, even from a tiny age I was mesmerised. Makeup is my passion, and I am literally obsessed with skincare & makeup. I love making my clients look and feel amazing about themselves, it's the most rewarding job in the world. When I was a teenager, I decided to move to London, and I became a mobile consultant for Lancôme as part of the L'Oreal group in Hammersmith. I was a mobile consultant all over London, moving between Harrods, Selfridges and other flagship city department stores. As a young teenager you can imagine it was just like my dream job. I even did a lot of big events like Miss World. Then after a few years I kind of just missed being in Cheshire so I moved back to become freelance, and the rest is history. I have just loved it ever since. How I work as a makeup artist, I do special occasion makeup, events, photo shoots, lessons and of course (possibly my favourite!) is weddings.
My Signature Style
One thing I stand by is ‘less is more’. I pride myself on my signature ‘no makeup’ look where the subtlety of the makeup accentuates your natural beauty. However, I'm hugely versatile and can do any look, so if you're going out on a big night out and you want a very strong look there's a certain way of achieving this without needing a thick veil of makeup (my pet hate) but leaving you with a high glamorous yet fresh radiant style. I had an e-mail not long ago from a bridal client and she thanked me saying that her husband absolutely loved her makeup as it looked like her. I’m all about the ‘glowy’ fresh elegant look and not the heavy over made-up look.
For all my clients I’m forever coaching skin care best practice. It's all about keeping the skin hydrated knowing the right products to use and just getting the very best out of your skin care investment. Nurturing your skin will ensure that makeup just glides on.
Products I Use
I don't stick with one brand, and I don’t work for anybody I just work for me. Put simply, my clients are my number one priority and so I recommend makeup products that I feel will be best for you, I don’t get a kick back from any brand I just tent to know a lot of the product ranges from time and experience working in the beauty industry and having such a passion for it. I do tend to use a lot of the high-end brands because I just absolutely love them. Some of my favourite brands that I use are Charlotte Tilbury, NARS, Estee Lauder, Benefit, Anastasia Beverley Hills, MAC, Laura Mercier, Chanel and many more. Experience allows me to know which brand is best for which product I use.

Lessons

As I trust you’ve gathered by now, I’m passionate about makeup but I want others to enjoy it and get the most from it too. In recent years I’ve launched 1-2-1 and group masterclass makeup lessons as an affordable and effective means to upskill you on some of my years of knowledge, especially that ‘no makeup look’.
